ADAPTING THROUGH THE REIGN OF MACHINES

I think I wrote someone similar to this topic as a hivelearners prompt last year. I can not remember the details though but I know it's very similar.

We are in a developing world. The technological aspect of our world has not yet reached its peak, but we have invented many things to make work not only easier, but faster and more efficient.

When I talk about easier and faster, robots, AI and other machines comes to mind.

Inarguably, these machines have assisted greatly with the running of our day to day activities.

Onchain, robots have helped many communities in making work easier, both in discord and here on hive.

The importance and helpful works done by the robots are always good, though not flawless. It has proven to be at least, 96% trust worthy. These machines are gradually taking over from humans.

This is actually a thing of concern in the aspect of programming. Currently, AIs can write and run a program in different programming language, design web pages and do many other things pertaining software programming and other related things.

The one thing I don't think these machines can take over is my job off chain.

I am a medical provider, who is deeply rooted in midwifery practice to ensure safe delivery thus, showing empathy, emotional support and other forms of therapy to ensure the success of my job.

Picture taken with a friend's iPhone.

Humans needs humans to take care of them and show them all the emotional support they need. What will you do as a woman during delivery if a robot is the one taking the delivery? Though robots are very good in some aspects of life, I do not think that they can take over my job as a midwife.
Robots can not bring about the tender loving care we show to the patients in other to make them okay. A robot can not reassure a patient passing through the most difficult times in terms of their health, and make them feel better. A robot can not gently and rightly massage a woman's back who is complaining bitterly of the pains from uterine contractions, she will just damage the robot. Hehe. Honestly, my job is not something any common person can do not to talk of a robot doing.

Well, we live in a world where nothing is impossible. One day it may happen and if that day comes, I will take it as an evolution and allow the process of change though I i will be hesitant to let go of my dreams to a man made machine at first. I have had this as a dreak for many years, worked very hard for it, passed through thick and thin just to get what I desire only to watch helplessly how every thing be taken away from my by a machine. Tsk, it will be a drag yaknow .

Tough times they say bring about tough people, during these times however, my body will immediately try to adapt to the situation. Habing robots take my job is something I cannot imagine but if it does happen, I will look for a skill that suits the timeline, learn, and put it into practice to keep sustaining myself and those that looks up to me.

Humans should not underestimate their power and wit because of this wit they made robots. Robots cannot compete humans(I think)

Yeah, robots can not compete with humans. They can never be as perfect as humans (in terms of make up)

That’s right nothing is impossible and humans can make the thoughts into a reality.

The robots and Ai cannot have emotions and feelings which characterises we human. If Robots cannot feel, they can obviously not act as humans and that can be very harmful and dangerous to the society if robots will rule over man..
