It was maybe one of the most beautiful experiences with strangers in LA..

Long story short: last week I sold a table that I no longer had a use for. A young couple came by and bought the table. I gradually learned that they had recently moved from Eastern Europe to America for political reasons, and were about looking for a fresh start. Since I had other things I didn't need, I called them to see if they had settled in or if anything was missing. After a brief conversation, I invited them to come over again because I wanted to give them some of the missing items for free. They came by earlier… I did not expect their reaction: she stood there, overwhelmed and started crying with gratitude. It may sound strange, but that also touched me a lot, I mean little things for you can mean something big for others. #grateful #happy
