The path to exceptionalism is going through the pain
When we talk about growth, personal development and self improvement we all talk about it in terms of it's good benefits like being in a good mindstate, physical shape and extraordinary in areas that no average human can function.
There are a lot of people who are extraordinary in their chosen field and serve as role models to other people. However what we only like to adopt from these set of people or rather what we choose to perceive are only the exciting stuffs.
If you see a man in a great physical shape you are always going to admire his build because it's pleasing to the eyes.
We humans like to admire, cherish and respect things that are extraordinary and great but we don't even want to become great ourselves because we see it as too much to handle for us. Sometimes we even think that those people are super human because of what they do.
For instance Taskmaster has been said to be a robot because of his activeness on the blockchain. This is something that's admirable and we all agree it's good for the blockchain but would anyone of us try to follow that path?
I bet many would deem it impossible. This is how things looks like with the rich and the poor where the poor people see the rich as somehow blessed than he his and that's why he was able to accumulate such wealth.
But that is never the case because all those who achieve something extraordinary are people who choose to go through with things no matter how impossible and painful it might be for them. I am sure there are times where Taskmaster himself would be like — fuck it I think it's time to take some time off.
Honestly if I was him I can't help but think that's it's time to go on a vacation to have some fun time. Fun is great but pain and boring is what those who wants to be great and above average humans should embrace if they want to become those they admire.
Everyone loves to make money and spend money, but the game of making money is one that's isn't as exciting as when you're spending it. First you have to make sure you don't lose your money then find a way to keep working long enough to be able to earn money while you're sleeping.
When we want to grow or build anything in our lives or for ourselves we can never eliminate the pain that comes with growth. This pain is what many poor people try to avoid and that's why they are where they are. Right now I feel like shit and I see myself being lazy as fuck even when I don't post as consistent as I should.
Nevertheless abandoning things is one sure way to never achieving anything. If Taskmaster didn't show up everyday and when he's not feeling like it I bet he would be compared with a bot and admired the way he is today.
This is what should be the mantra of everyone who wants to make it big in life or on Hive because it's never going to happen in one day but doing it daily and facing the pain headstrong is what will give you a chance of getting to that enchlon of being an exceptional men in whatever field you are.
