Process drawing a punk rocker

Super super greetings to all the people at Hive, especially the artists and users of the Sketchbook community. Today I'm here to participate, sharing an artistic process. I'll be doing it here as I go along. While I write and listen to music, I'll be drawing and posting images of the process. Okay? I hope you like the result, because I don't have much of an idea of ​​what I'm going to draw. I'll just improvise as I go along and see what comes out, hehe.

Materials

This will be something simple. We'll make a drawing using a traditional technique, so we'll use some colored markers on a white sheet of letter-sized bond paper. I normally draw and rough it with a graphite pencil, but since I tend to do it too loosely, the photos don't come out well. You can't see them clearly. So I'll use a light blue fine-tip marker to make the base lines, the rough outline, and then draw on top with other dark or black markers to give it more detail.

Let's start tracing with the blue marker. My idea is to make a character, something quirky and different, with details, but not over the top, since the intention is that it can later be animated with an AI like KLING, HAILUO, or RUNWAY, so I guess it shouldn't be too complicated so the AI ​​doesn't get tangled up, hehe.

I think I'll make a standing character that can then start walking, or maybe I'll just walk it right away.

Now looking at the photo, it's not like the blue in the sketch stands out too much. I'll see if it looks better with another photo.

Well, this one doesn't improve much either, and as you can see, I didn't draw him walking, but standing with a drink in his hand, just improvisational, hehe. Another detail: the character has a big head, BIG-HEAD style, so you know, it'll be cartoonish, nothing very realistic, haha.

By the way, since I started drawing, I've been listening to a lot of music. I've been listening to several of THE PRODIGY's songs. Here's a look at this fabulous electronic rock band.

Well, let's add details to the character, and since I'm into that electronic vibe with THE PRODIGY, let's let the character have a bit of that, yeah!

And meanwhile, we continue listening to THE PRODIGY's old hits. So, here's one of their most iconic songs with one of their most memorable videos: FIRESTARTER

Now, we continue with our drawing, inking with black and dark blue markers.

Here we have the line art ready.

Well, now it's time to add a little color, with the same markers, we're going to try to make it quite colorful.

And yes, it finally turned out, I think so, quite colorful in my opinion, hehe. What do you think? Leave your comments, yeah!!
