Somee brahs (and ladies). I decided to grab some LEO tokens yesterday.
If you don't know what #LeoFinance is, it's basically just like Somee except they are less Facebook-esque, and more focused on long-form content that's strictly centered around the topic of finance.
They are a L2 on Hive with their own community token (LEO), and they are also have a wrapped version of their token on ETH (WLEO).
Soon they are launching a microblogging app for short-form content (aka something like twitter).
LeoFinance is the biggest community on HIVE (as far as how many users are posting content... I think splinterlands has more users but those people aren't all posting on the blog), their market cap is only around $2M USD right now.
FYI don't expect to just show up there and start earning a shitload of money for posting about how good your lunch tastes, HIVE doesn't play around when it comes to which content they support. You're gonna have to put in effort and make yourself a part of the community there if you want to gain any traction.

Thanks man, I'd really like to grab some more LEO but I'm pretty low on funds right now.
As far as SoMee, the past hasn't been great but I'm somewhat optimistic now. They connected to HIVE a few months ago and things have been going much better since then.
I think they removed their app from the app stores until they get it caught up with the website.

Actually since this post was made from somee, you just earned some SME from my upvote.
Pretty cool being able to earn HIVE, LEO and SME all on one post.
One thing I realized though is since I have a pretty large SME holding, I'll have to sacrifice half of my potential SME earnings every day if I want to also upvote people on LEO.
And same goes vice versa. Unless there's a way you can keep your LEO voting power at 100% while lowering your HIVE voting power? I don't think that's possible though, unless I'm missing something.

You can set voting weights on leodex.
My 10% hive vote is worth 100% of my Leo vote in the same click.
You can also delegate Leo to a voting bot and get a return that way but it's less fun.

Somee revamped and linked onto hive.
They are not there yet but have some bogging features available. Give it a year and they will be running smoothly or dead in the water.
I like their chances though. They seem to have a good plan.
I agree, they remind me a lot of LeoFinance actually, just a couple steps behind in terms of feature development, and obviously more focused on short-form "Facebook/IG" type content.
I've been holding and accumulating for almost 5 years now so what's another year at this point, I definitely think they have potential.

I had no idea it was linked to Hive now. So what you post from SoMee gets posted to the Hive blockchain? Sick. Just another way to earn tokens. Do you get anything for using the somee tag and not posting from their frontend? I'm so used to LeoFinance at this point I don't think I can switch.

Yep it literally works just like LeoFinance.. they are still developing stuff so it isn't perfect. At the moment, the most "leo-like" experience you can get would be on somee.blog.
That would be their HIVE outpost where you can just connect with hive keychain, I don't think you would even need a somee account to post/earn on somee.blog
Somee.social is the more "facebook-like" experience, but it comes with a bit more of having to deal with development bugs and shit like that.
For an existing hive user who knows how hive works, somee.blog is probably the easiest way to get started.
And yes, someeofficial tag will make your post eligible for SME earnings. I think you might have to add the tag at the original time of posting though, I tried to add the someeofficial tag to an existing post earlier and it didn't work for some reason.
If you post from somee.blog, it'll automatically be eligible for earnings and you won't have to worry about adding tags. And you can still cross-post to other tags like leofinance etc, just like with any other hive front end.

The only somee I ever knew what the shit mobile app that hasn't been updated since 2017 so this is pretty fucking awesome.
