My Actifit Report Card: May 11 2026

Hey Actifitters,

It was another busy start of the week yesterday. Way too many meetings at work, and too little time for actual work! Le Chat was also hard at work on the dog bed outside. She's funny, turning her back to us to sleep and yawn...

She quickly woke up of course when we got ready for our daily walk with Kaia.

Because of more meetings late afternoon, we didn't have enough time for a full walk to the forest. But that's when the small forest behind the front yard is perfect.

I saw something in the distance and was worried it was that fox we met a few days ago. But it was a raccoon, and by the time Kaia caught its scent, it was already all the way up a tree. That's the best pictures I could get.

She never really saw it because dogs aren't too good at looking up, especially near the top of a tall tree. But she clearly could feel it was close, and she looked everywhere on the ground.

When we came back, Le Chat was still busy eating grass. She likes her greens!

We left her while she finished her snack and went for one more loop in the neighborhood. It was a beautiful end of the afternoon, clear sky and chilly temperature.

Too bad we didn't have enough time, because the sunset on the West side looked awesome.

Well, after a few days with good step counts, it wasn't a great one. And I'm pretty sure Tuesday won't be great either with again plenty of meetings I cannot skip. Hopefully I can step it up a bit after that.
