My Actifit Report Card: October 16 2025

Hey Actifitters,

We stayed mostly in the work week routine again yesterday. But we got another visit from all these birds. They covered the entire yard!

Just like the day before, Le Chat was observing them with attention, and maybe a bit of worries.

But Kaia chased them again and we could enjoy the yard without all the loud noise.

We started our daily walk as usual behind the front yard.

Kaia didn't have enough with the birds, she was ready to chase bigger critters. And she did chase a few deer.

At least until we started on the way to the bigger forest.

As often, it was getting dark when we made it there.

And it soon was fully dark. That didn't stop us of course.

There were still a few colors in the early night sky.

One last loop in the forest and we were on our way back home.

After lots of hesitation, I finally went for a run, the last real one before the half marathon this week end. I chose a short one but faster, well at least for my current form. It wasn't too bad, a little over 5k in 24 minutes, and the good news was my Achilles wasn't too painful. Of course, it isn't even one fourth of the required distance, but the pace was much faster than the one I target for the race. Maybe one last very easy run Friday or Saturday and we'll see what happens on Sunday.
