My Actifit Report Card: August 7 2025
Hey Actifitters,
Yesterday wasn't really active. The main activity being swimming, which isn't recorded by Actifit, my step count barely made it above 10k, which probably makes it my worst step count in years.
When I drove my mother to her physiotherapist appointment, I did walk a bit though. It was in a tiny village up the hills I mention often, with lots of beautiful old stone buildings and awesome small streets.
And of course, like many of these small villages, the original church at the center.
We didn't even go for an actual walk with Sam, but that didn't bother him, he was happy jumping on furniture he's not even supposed to be on!
At night, I went to a Brazilian restaurant with some friends and the food (picanha!) and drinks were excellent! So in short, little activity except for plenty of swimming again, but lots of food and drinks. Not the healthiest day, but I guess that's what vacations are for!

That little village sounds charming, it must have been a very relaxing walk through those picturesque streets.

Yes, this village was pretty cool for a short stroll. Like I mentioned in past, I like these old stones walls, houses and buildings.
Picanha was new to me but it was very good !INDEED. A good address we might try again when I'm around.

Wow the small village up the hills looks quaint. Thank you for sharing more photos from your day. I'd love a vacation too at this time. 😆 It is fascinating how many small, medieval villages abound in Europe. I think here everywhere is too crowded, not much fun to explore. Do enjoy your weekend!

We do have plenty of these tiny beautiful villages in the area, and it's even better when they're stuck up the hills. After living many years in the US, where 50 years old buildings are sometimes considered historic, it is very cool to rediscover real historical sites.
