My Actifit Report Card: June 16 2025

Hey Actifitters,

Summer heat is unfortunately getting to us this week and it started yesterday. So after a nice week end, the motivation was pretty low. And as usual, it's best demonstrated by Le Chat...

But we just can't skip our daily walk, we just waited until a bit later.

Le Chat was so lazy she didn't even join us behind the front yard. She stayed behind the fence while Kaia explored. Not sure who's the laziest, her or me...

We quickly went to the forest anyways.

Kaia chased a baby deer right near the entrance. I was a little worried but luckily that deer was faster than it looked and escaped. It's good when Kaia uses up lots of energy right away, then she just follows along.

But she recuperates quickly and was back chasing more critters in no time.

She even got time for a little climbing.

When it started to get dark, I was hoping to catch part of the sunset near the street.

But it was really just the end of it, with beautiful colors again.

And finally Kaia walked us out of the forest and on our way home.

Well, more heat on the way, including possibly over 100F temperatures near the week end, so I am really not sure we'll be able to keep up with the steps, but we'll try.
