My Actifit Report Card: April 11 2025

Hey Actifitters,

We had some sunny moments yesterday afternoon and kind of chilly, that is great combo of course. First we spent time with Le Chat in the yard. Every time there is a little sun, she's on the dog bed in the yard soaking it up! And she cracks me up with the various faces...

But we didn't stay there. For once that we were out the door a little earlier than sundown, we quickly went behind the front yard.

Of course Le Chat joined her sister during her exploration. That's something else that always makes me laugh: "What did you find sister? Lemme see, lemme see...". This time it was Le Chat asking Kaia, sometimes it's the other way around.

As usual, we then went to the bigger forest with Kaia.

And since we arrived there before the sun completely disappeared, my main goal was to catch views between the trees. I just can't help it!

Even better with reflections in the big puddles.

I also couldn't resist a quick detour near the street corner, such beautiful sunset colors!

And once again, we cut back through the forest one last time to get us back on the way home.

Just as we exited the forest, we saw this cat in one of the less taken care of yards. Very appropriate for Caturday! Pretty sure it's the first time we see this one, and it looks like it has a broken ear. That would also be the first time I see that in a cat, while it's more common with dogs.

Finally, on the way back, we found another one of my favorite things to photograph, the Moon! It suddenly appeared between small branches.

Officially it is full only on Saturday I think, but it already looked pretty full to me.

And that was it, another great walk in this beautiful chilly and sunny weather. I have a 10k race on Saturday, luckily the weather stays similar (spoiler alert, it did!)
