My Actifit Report Card: January 17 2025

Hey Actifitters,

Yesterday was very sunny at first, but it was also quite busy. By the time we could take a break, it was a bit more cloudy. Still very nice though.

We didn't have enough time for our usual long forest walk, because we had plans in the evening. So we just went to the small forest behind the front yard with Kaia.

I said it many times, even though it's a small forest, there's plenty of fun to have and the lack of trails is extra challenge.

Kaia for sure enjoyed it very much, chasing a few squirrels and deer.

Then we looped around the neighborhood real quick. The sun was fighting a few remaining clouds.

When we made it back home, most of the clouds were gone. Beautiful view in the backyard.

I know that might sound crazy but for us, that meant espressos on the deck. At about 38F (or 3C), I didn't even need a jacket.

Of course, Kaia didn't think just chilling on the deck was a good activity, too slow! So she found wood sticks and old tennis balls for us to throw, so she can chase something, anything! I had plenty more of great joyful pictures of her, but I already have plenty in this report, I'll try and post something in hivepets later today.

Like I said, we had plans later, so we couldn't enjoy our espressos too long, but before leaving, we had a glimpse of the final sunset colors.

I also asked Le Chat if she wanted to stay outside while we were gone, but that's all the answer I got. Fine, you can stay in this time again...

I knew it would a small step count, but I didn't think I'd miss the bar in #poprzeczka competition. First stumble in January. That's okay, I'll be back in the race very soon.
