My Actifit Report Card: December 14 2024

Hey Actifitters,

Our wish to get more sunny snowy weather was granted yesterday. It was warmer unfortunately, so the snow will be gone soon. Of course, we were outside as soon as we could, starting in the small forest behind the front yard.

It's a good place to catch great sun views.

As usual, we didn't stop there and headed to the bigger forest next.

I like to try and play with photos of the sun and the natural obstacles.

Or just the sun through the trees...

After we met several other dog walkers, Kaia had her nose to the ground for a long time. I'm sure she knows all the details about the dogs we crossed path with.

Since we had daylight this time, it was an opportunity to check on the other teepees. Like I mentioned a few days ago, we found one completely taken down. Luckily all the main ones are still there.

And Kaia checked them all!

But as you can see on the photo above, something caught her eye. Yep, another deer family (we saw at least two dozens yesterday, which is incredible in such a small forest).

Of course, she chased them. But they were getting a bit too close to the streets at the edge of the forest. So I called her back, just in case.

It was getting dark anyways, so once again I followed her out of the forest, and back home.

Big bonus on the way back, fantastic views on the full Moon. Not trying to brag, but I think these were some of my best Moon shots (at least with my cell phone).

And I cannot finish this post without Le Chat, she was at home chilling. It's weird, sometimes it's super cold and she stays outside, and some days, it's warmer and she hangs out inside. Weird Le Chat!

Like I said, the snow won't stay for long, so it's good we could enjoy it during our long walk yesterday.
