My Actifit Report Card: August 18 2024

Hey Actifitters,

Some more crazy weather yesterday! It was heavy rain a minute, sun the next, and then rain again. Absolutely unpredictable and the forecast was indeed completely wrong all day. So instead of the somewhat outdoorsy plan we had, we spent lots of time indoor, doing things that we always keep for later, like cleaning... I know at least two that weren't too happy about it:

Actually maybe Le Chat was. But you can see Kaia blocked the stairs, so nobody could leave without her. Anyways, as it's often been the case these days, the weather improved in the afternoon and we could start our daily walk with Kaia. When we left the backyard, it's a good thing I spotted this visitor in the front yard though.

That gave me just enough time to leash Kaia until the deer was back in the forest, and she could then pretend to chase it.

After such a rainy start, it was good to see so much blue in the sky.

In spite of the mosquitoes (yes I've been complaining about it a lot!), we went to our usual forest.

We found more deer when we got there.

This time Kaia was off-leash and there was no stopping her, until she came back very thirsty!

But apparently, chasing deer is also very tiring, because she lied down every opportunity she could.

And she was very quick to start on the way out of the forest.

So just a few more mushrooms photos.

A short Cubiverse detour, where we almost had a full sunset.

And we were on our way back, with just a few more detours in the neighborhood. And guess what we found in the yard? Of course, more deer! 5 scattered in both the front and back yards.

Kaia wasn't too happy about it but she was leashed and had no choice to just watch them slowly leave after several minutes.

Once again, in spite of a very changing weather, we were able to stay somewhat active. The coming week is supposed to be dry and much cooler, perfect!
