My Actifit Report Card: August 9 2024

Hey Actifitters,

Because of several meetings yesterday, I had to spend more time indoors that I wanted. Le Chat showed once again that indoors or outdoors, it doesn't matter, she's the best at doing nothing! While staying cute of course!

The weather was sunny in the afternoon though.

So I managed to get enough time to start our daily walk before it got dark.

Kaia saw or caught the scent of something that seemed very appealing.

She really wanted to go in to check it out.

But I wanted to go to the forest right away. When we got there, I saw a group of deer in the distance. Sorry it's a bit blurry, they were still far, which is why Kaia didn't notice them at first.

But she did notice them eventually and of course she became a blur on my photo!

She came back a little later, "I didn't get them... But I will..."

Not sure what's going on. When we found this puddle, I was sure Kaia would jump in.

But for the second day in a row, she ignored some perfectly good puddles!

I'm still not sure what season is best to find ghost pipes, or even if there is one. But we can still find plenty of them in the forest. They're very beautiful!

We saw another deer, a young fawn, still with the white spots. I can't be sure of course if it's the same one of course, but it's at least the fourth time we see a fawn all by itself in the forest. It's very strange to me.

We had more time than usual, so we followed the forest edge to catch a couple Cubiverse vaults. The sunset colors were already there.

As often, we made another quick loop in the forest on the way back.

Kaia seemed happy with the extra off-leash time, but I was struggling with the mosquitoes again. You know how it gets bloody when you smash them while they bite. Well I was bloody all over! Hopefully my own blood, not from somebody else they bit before...

And we were finally on our way back. The sun and the clouds gave us a great show with crazy colors!

And that was it for the day's activities. I knew I had a final duel for the #Macfit Olympics, but I also knew there was basically no chance to win it. Silver medal is already better than I hoped.
