My Actifit Report Card: July 29 2024

Hey Actifitters,

After 3 active days, we took it a little easier yesterday. And when it comes to take it easy, nobody does it better than Le Chat! I don't think she can yawn harder!

Even when we started our daily walk with Kaia late afternoon, she looked at us and the message was clear, she wasn't going to follow us.

So we did stop behind the front yard for a little bit but didn't stay for long.

We wanted to quickly get under the forest shade for cooler and maybe less humid air, but all we got was mosquitoes!

Can you see the Yoda ears on this photo? Kaia kept moving them because of the mosquitoes. It's getting worse and worse, almost impossible to walk the trails because of these damn bloodsuckers.

So once again, we chose the short route. It was already getting dark under the canopy anyways.

When we get out of the forest near the construction, the mosquito swarm follows us for a bit, but usually goes back into the safety of the forest quickly.

Kaia didn't seem as energetic as the day before but we added a couple of slow loops in the neighborhood until nightfall.

When we got closer to home, Le Chat had finally woken up and she greeted us a couple blocks before home. I guess she was bored all by herself.

Like I said, a slower day to start the week, but it's good sometimes. And I don't think there was any major stepping challenge anyways, so it was the perfect day for it. We need to do much better on Tuesday though to score some points in the #Macfit Olympics.
