My Actifit Report Card: July 26 2024

Hey Actifitters,

With #Macfit Olympics starting yesterday, I wanted to try and get a good start. So I stayed as active as possible during the day, including many breaks in the yard. Le Chat pretended she wasn't interested, but of course every time we went out, she joined in the fun!

Even the times we went behind the front yard. She couldn't resist exploring with Kaia.

Only when we went for our daily walk with Kaia, she didn't follow. She missed this encounter with a beautiful deer. Some of the most impressive antlers I've seen in a while.

We started in the forest on our usual trail.

I thought I'd try again to extend our walk, so we went to the same clearing.

But unlike the day before, Kaia seemed much better, with more energy.

So we kept walking, and even picked up a few Cubiverse vaults and late sunset views at the edge of the forest.

Then back in the forest for a shortcut on our way back home.

Just as we exited the forest, we met another deer. I thought it was the same but the antlers were quite different.

I was nicely surprised Kaia still seemed very well at that point. So we added a few loops in the neighborhood until it got dark.

Finally we finished the day with a few more steps in the yard for a pretty good score. I hope this will give a good start for #Macfit, although I admit I haven't checked all the details yet.
Oh I also watched parts of the Olympics opening ceremony on the afternoon. When I heard one of my favorite metal bands, Gojira, was scheduled to play, I couldn't miss it! Their short part was really cool! The best part in my opinion but I am probably very biased for this one. Les Miserables, a headless Marie Antoinette, a metal version of 'Ah ca ira' played by Gojira with an opera singer on a boat, and pyrotechnics, that was quite unexpected, but great! The first ever metal band to appear in the Olympics opening ceremony didn't disappoint! Impatient to see them live again in a few weeks. They're touring with Korn and that should be another great show.
