My Actifit Report Card: June 30 2024
Hey Actifitters,
I had three main objectives yesterday. Two I couldn't skip: yard work that I pushed back as long as I could, and of course a walk with Kaia. And a third optional one, a run to take advantage of the surprisingly cooler temperatures. We started with the first one and as usual it took much longer than expected. To be fair, it's also because of all the breaks to play with Le Chat.
But every time I started the mower, she was gone!
It was already fairly late in the afternoon when I was finally done, and after one more break, we started our daily walk with Kaia, who had been very patient during the afternoon.
The trails in the forest dried up faster than I thought, it was still very muddy of course, but easy to walk around most puddles.
Well, not everywhere.
For a minute, Kaia was almost worried she wouldn't be able to splash around.
I think the heavy rain 2 nights before destroyed many of the mushrooms I showed previously. Almost none were left on that mulch pile, except the ones from the cover pic.
During our Cubiverse loop, we caught the very last colors of the sunset.
But as often, we still had a little time for one last loop in the forest before it got really dark.
But there was a lot of sitting for Kaia, at least every time I stopped for a photo.
So I let her play in the dirty water one more time and we walked back home. That was a chance to catch a few nice reflections and I already had plenty of steps for the day anyways.
Back at home, I made the decision there wasn't enough time for a decent run before complete darkness. And I didn't have the motivation for a night run. Like I said I already had more than enough steps anyways.
In the end, that was a pretty active day. Unlike many people, I'm not really a fan of yard work, but at least that gets me a lot of steps! Surely enough for one more successful jump over the bar in #poprzeczka competition and hopefully a qualification in #macfit competition (I admit I never even checked who I was playing against for this round).
As always, thanks for stopping by and see you tomorrow.

Bad news: Saying see you later to Hive! 👋
We didn't get the needed support to continue cXc.world on Hive, as our DHF proposal lacked votes, but [Good News Everyone] cXc.world will add a Markdown copy button, allowing you to easily share your music + music you find on Hive.
For now, we're on WAX, with tools you can use to mint your own Music/Media NFT collection.
