Hey Actifitters,

Yesterday's activities started once again the same way, hanging out with Le Chat and Kaia in the yard.

Once Kaia was done with her inspection of the perimeter, she also checked what Le Chat was up to.

And even after we started our walk behind the front yard,

These two quickly reunited.

The only way to really separate them is to go to the bigger forest, that's just too far for Le Chat to follow.

When we got there, we met a deer with her young fawn. Very cute but unfortunately that's the best photos I was able to snap.

It was nice to still see some sun through the thick green canopy.

When Kaia climbed on her favorite wood mulch pile, I noticed all the mushrooms.

Must be good soil for mushrooms.

There were plenty more all over these much piles.

Including this big one. I will monitor it the next few days, I'm curious to see how long it thrives before it starts decaying.

But we found much more interesting 'plants'. Can you see them on this wide view?

What about now? Yes, dozens of ghost pipes. I found some in the forest for the first time last year I think, or maybe the year before. But I've read they're fairly rare, and unpredictable: if you found some one year, it's not a given to find them again the following years.

Well, in addition to these ones, I found more where I saw them last year.

We finished our walk the usual way with first a short Cubiverse loop. The sunset sky was beautiful!

Then a final loop in the muddy forest.

And we were on our way back home. No more wildlife spotted for once. But another jump over the bar for #poprzeczka competition, yay!!
