My Actifit Report Card: May 25 2024

Hey Actifitters,

Yesterday was very sunny again, but as often on weekend, I got up later that I should have. So I didn't really have the time and will to do the yard work I was supposed to. Instead we just relaxed in the yard.

At first, Le Chat went after Kaia, but when Kaia was like 'Come on, play with me!', Le Chat didn't want to anymore. Typical Le Chat, and probably most cats!

So they just stayed there ignoring each other, but close from each other. Like I already mentioned, they often do that.

But I had to break their fake bonding moment, so we could start our long walk with Kaia.

Even before we entered the forest, we were once again swarmed by mosquitoes.

So we used the small side entrance again, as we noticed it's a little better.

I hesitated a little but took the risk to follow one of the trails. The result was maybe a half dozen mosquito bites, definitely better than the other side.

We didn't stop too often because that's when the mosquitoes really get you. But I couldn't resist a few photo opportunities.

Especially when I spotted this tiny thing moving. Good thing Kaia didn't see it.

It was still early and the sun was bright, so instead of fighting the mosquitoes longer, I decided to walk back home and go for a run instead.

It was later of course, but that's one of the pathways I like to run through, along the forest edge.

All in all, that was once again just enough to pass the bar for @poprzeczka in May. Not sure I can stay in the competition much longer, but I'll try a few more days. And with Poliac starting soon, that's one more motivation for more steps.
