My Actifit Report Card: March 30 2024

Hey Actifitters,

After the past couple of sunny days, yesterday was mostly rainy. Even if it stopped in the afternoon, it stayed grey and gloomy.

The first sign of Spring are now visible behind the front yard. I don't like it because that means winter is pretty much over for good, but well, nothing we can do about the seasons.

As usual, Kaia doesn't care about such things, she just runs!

But, since the rain probability was now very low, we quickly started our long walk of the day. It almost seemed like all the wildlife was waking up all of a sudden. First, squirrels everywhere, with a few ones quite bold, taunting Kaia from their perched spot.

And just as we were getting close to the forest entrance, we met a big group of deer. They just looked at us, and didn't seem to care much about us.

It's a good thing it was just before the forest, because Kaia was still on leash. A minute later and it would have been the big chase!

Of course, I unleashed her a few minutes later and she looked for them very thoroughly!

She even checked in the teepees, just in case. But no luck, nothing!

After walking pretty much all the forest trails, we still needed a lot of steps to pass the bar in @poprzeczka. So we went North and West in the extended neighborhood. Good excuse to also catch a couple more Cubiverse vaults.

Even outside the forest, we can still meet a lot of deer out there.

After a few miles, we made one last detour near the forest to check on our tree friend. Still no sign of losing its leaves!

That was it for our walk, but later in the evening, I noticed the bar was definitely in reach, so a little bit more running around the yard with Kaia, and it was a success!
