My Actifit Report Card: March 2 2024

Hey Actifitters,

It was mostly sunny again yesterday, at least in the afternoon. As usual, Le Chat was watching Kaia run around in the yard.

So we knew that if we stopped by the small forest behind the front yard, she would probably join us again.

Kaia didn't wait for her though and went on the hunt immediately.

And her she was. She looks as though she doesn't care at all, but she likes spending time with us.

Kaia noticed she was back there.

And of course ran back as fast as she could for a sweet reunion. It's quite a typical sight these days.

They explored the edge of the forest together for a while, but Le Chat didn't follow Kaia much further in the forest.

So once again, we left her there and headed towards our other forest. I know the chicken wire fence kinda ruined that shot, but this squirrel cracked me up. Trying to stand on 2 branches, he wasn't about to let go of his food. Somehow it reminded me of the squirrel in Ice Age...

Nothing really new in our forest, it's just nice to see it in the afternoon sometimes.

I couldn't stop Kaia from jumping into this puddle of muddy water. Luckily it wasn't too deep because I didn't have time to give her a bath afterwards.

On a great afternoon like that, we didn't have a choice and had to walk all the way to the teepees.

Actually we walked pretty much all the trails in our small forest, until the sun was pretty low.

So we made our loop around the edge for Cubiverse vaults of course. I was surprised the sun was still visible.

On weekdays, our second loop into the forest is usually in the dark, so it was cool to still have daylight.

But we didn't stay too long and even if it was getting late, we went towards the golf course.

Again I was very surprised to still catch great views of the sunset. Days are significantly longer for sure.

We've been going to catch sunsets near the golf course for years, and somehow I never noticed these houses just behind it. That's probably a nice and quiet location, kind of secluded, which is great.

After a couple of additional loops in the neighborhood, we were back in our blocks. One last view on the residual sunset colors before we arrived home.

Well, even if our activities weren't too different from our routine, it was a great afternoon. I missed the bar for @poprzeczka, but I think it's enough steps to make it into the #Macfit Final Four, yay!!
