July ALREADY??

Time does seem to fly and more so the year. I do hope you are making the most of the weather and holiday season.

It's nice to see everyone out and about after some tough prior years and enjoying the time with family and friends.

The blessings in little things gives us happiness in big ways.

I have an anecdote from the library (reading room) where I studied when I was a student.

About the speed of time - months and years...

At the book pick-up/return desk, there is a pensive middle-aged man, probably a college professor.

He fills out the form for taking books and more for himself, repeats: "Um, date...date...".

The librarian hears him and tells him: "8th, Wednesday".

He replies: "Oh, thank you, I know that, but..."

She continues: ".. April?".

He looked at her questioningly and said: "I know that too, but I can't remember what year it is".

Very interesting. Yeah, we tend to lose track of date and time either whilst having fun or during a traumatic phase. Highs and lows of life can do that. But just like age is just a number, I guess so is time. We are just living each passing of both.

Never-the-less, let's hope and pray that each of them is pleasant in days and years ahead Godwilling.
