A short preview for today's article is that we are going to examine what is the most efficient way to climb up the ranks and how I manage to reach the Auric Gold rank! Also, we are going to see what I did at the weekend event and what I didn't do. Before that, I should give you a heads up because I didn't find much time to play the game over the weekend.! The main reason is the Christmas spirit is upon us and I was forced to go out from my cave xD. But enough of that! Kick back and enjoy our first post for the week!

Let's start from the beginning; in the previous posts I showed you the deck I used the most, it was an Aggro - God of Nature deck. I would show the deck again and in this post with a few modifiers. So the best strategy I think you should follow is the aggro or mid-range decks. The main reason is the cards you get for Free at the start are perfect for a Zoo/Aggro deck! Also if you are coming from a background with experience in some Card games you will adapt very fast in the environment of GU. The basic trait you MUST have in the lower ranks is to know how you do value trades! Yeap, I know that many of you think that is too basic but you will encounter many opponents that don't do trades at all. If you are new to all of this and you don't know what value trades are we are going to see it together step by step!

So let's see what is the definition of a value trade; A value trade is a trade where you kill the opponent's minion but yours live or both minions die, but you still have the upper hand on the board. If you consistently take value trades, then eventually your opponent will fall behind as he will have spent more mana than you.

Weekend Grind For those who read the preamble, you know that is not going to be something fancy! I commit now, to do a better job next week but it is hard in these festive days to sustain your level of commitment in all the crypto games I play and try to be active in Hive! I am not complaining or anything but it is what it is! So let's see what did we do the past weekend!

Hate to see it, I didn't even play all the 25 matches but what can you do now? The good thing is that I was promoted to Auric Gold and I hope I can achieve my personal goal, Mythic!
