The Sandbox Alpha Season 2 Has Concluded. Who Will Win the Raffle?!

I was able to participate in the first Alpha months ago, but unless you already had a $10,000 Alpha Pass, there was really no point in playing. Users with the pass were able to play and earn up to 1,000 SAND which is currently valued around $2,500. Aside from that, you could just run around and check out the experiences. This season was totally different because everyone has the opportunity to earn SAND. There's a raffle going on right now for 5,000 users to win Season 2 Alpha passes that will enable them to claim their potentially earned SAND.

There was only a couple ways to earn raffle tickets for this big drawing. Those were by playing and completing quests, then the other way was by staking SAND. Being that I don't have any extra capital at the moment, I just grinded and completed as many quests as I could with my limited free time.

Unfortunately I didn't finish level 5 like I wanted to but damn it I tried. I just didn't have time. I earned 280 tickets into the raffle for 1 of 5,000 alpha passes. I don't think my odds of winning are very high but damn that would be a pleasant blessing. Based off the amount of quests I completed, I'd be eligible for claim 600 SAND!

I just barely completed level 4 last night before falling asleep so there was no chance I was gunna hit the target. I can't really be upset though, I guess I did earn quite a few entries. Though my odds of winning are slim to none, I'm hopeful. I can't express how much I need a win in my life right now.

Aside from the grinding through quests for raffle entries, I did have a great time doing it. The game is evolving in the right direction and will only continue to get better with time. There's a shit ton of different quests and experiences. My favorite ones were where you got to do dungeon crawling and fight your way through enemies. Dracula's Castle was fun and Snoop Dogg's mansion was a blast.

I'd love to see support for controllers. This is a computer only game for the moment, but as a OC gamer, I use an XBOX controller most of the time. I hate playing games with keyboard and mouse. I've never liked it since I was a kid, and the moment that Windows got native support for controllers I started using them.

Growing up, I used the shitty programmable controllers but the native support is just amazing. It makes playing games like Far Cry and GTA very much more enjoyable than keyboard and mouse. So I think a lot of people feel the same way - please add controller support in a future update! Another thing I think would be awesome for the game would be like a co-op mode. Of course you play in an open world with all the other players, but I think it would be great to have Parties where you could quest with friends.

As I said, the game is still in Alpha and there's a lot that needs to be improved. Overall though, I had a great time playing and I think most people that did could say the same. Did you earn any entries into the raffle? Lemme know how many! Good Luck!!
