Have you seen the latest LeoBridge update?

It has been an absolutely wild day to to say the least. I woke up to a million tech support tickets and everyone raving about the HBD price pumping to over $2. Of course all the fun stuff happens while Nifty is sleeping or when he has no funds liquid to play. Oh well, I'm just happy to see the community buzzing after being kinda in a lull for the past week. We also got some incredible news in the LeoFinance Discord today!

Not only did the LeoBridge get a nice update, but Cub Finance got a major update! Moon here we come, amirite? I'll likely do a few articles on the Cub updates next, but today I'm more focused on the LeoBridge. I don't have a ton of time to sit and write, I just felt like this needed a bit of spotlight. The past few months have been crazy in the LeoFinance Sooniverse!

We have seen a plethora of new tokens born via the PolyCUB multi-token bridge and we've also seen governance go live on the platform. The Leo Team is doing some incredible work pushing forward in the Hive/BNB Chain/Polygon ecosystem and it's definitely not going unnoticed.

Most building happens in the bear market, while the noise is a lot lower. Everyone isn't running around talking about getting rich and the latest NFT launch. People are working, building, and preparing for the next bull market.

If you've been using any of the new token bridges to move Hive/Hive Engine tokens to Polygon or BNB chain, you might recognize the above page. I was able to grab it courtesy of the Wayback Machine, which allows us to peak into the past for websites. Looking at the UI, and comparing it to today's update... You notice one thing. It is very simple and easy to use.

With the launch of the updated UI for LeoBridge, we also saw the soft launch of bHBD and bHIVE. I won't go too much into that right now as my focus is on the bridge itself. Looking at the bridge as a complete newbie, you automatically know where to go without any question. Simplicity is key, but of course it can always get better. Want to wrap HIVE to pHIVE on Polygon? I suggest that some minor things be added to the UI for clarity. Number one - dark mode. Of course, I would love to see a summary of what LeoBridge is, whether is be at the top or to the side of the main UI. Maybe just something like "LeoBridge is used to send tokens across multiple blockchains within the LeoFinance ecosystem" would be helpful. Another simple and easy UI update - add a description to each button. It could be as simple as "Bridge HIVE to and from Polygon" beneath the pHIVE text on the button.

As you can see, there is negative space on either side of the main UI, which is clearly designed for mobile. On desktop, it would be great to use this space for links to PolyCUB Docs and Cub Finance Docs. Maybe even list the contract addresses for each token. There's a lot that could be done. As for mobile, adding a simple "hamburger menu" would be nice and clean that way the main UI could still be what people see when it loads.

There's a lot of very small things that could be added to the UI without overwhelming it to give users the best experience. These are just suggestions, of course. I commend the team for rolling out updates super fast, and I'm always here to help with any issues via Tech Support.
