Lana Rhoades - Pornstar Turned NFT Scammer
Another day another scam. This actually happened some time ago but kinda flew under the radar. As with most NFT rugpulls or scams, all the evidence is gone. There's one thing that doesn't go away though, and that's the blockchain history. The blockchain don't lie.
CryptoSis NFT Rug Pull
Back in January, famous pornstar Lana Rhoades launched her very own NFT project called CryptoSis. This was a collection of 6,069 generative NFTs of a female cartoon character (I guess it's supposed to be her) in different poses with different accessories. I hate to keep bringing up Bored Ape Yacht Club NFTs, but this is basically the same thing except there's less of them and instead of monkeys... It's a woman. These NFTs were supposed to be different than other generative projects because they were supposed to have "real world utility". Unfortunately those real world utilities were never actually going to happen and the project was rug pulled. A lot of people would've been happy to get fucked by Lana Rhoades, but this is a different kind of getting fucked. She fucked potentially 6,000 people all at the same time. That'd be a crazy video LOL.
Not only were the people who minted these NFTs supposed to be getting exclusive perks in the real world... But they were also going to get a skin for The Sandbox and Decentraland. One lucky minter was even going to win an all inclusive trip to South Africa to meet Lana. Holders that held longer than 30 days were supposed to get sessions with business leaders and owners of 9 figure companies. Wow. 9 figures is a lot of figures for a porn NFT! holders were also supposed to get whitelisted for future drops such as a valentines day collection and airdrops. Clearly none of this happened and none of it will ever happen since... You know... Lana took the money and ran. She ran far, far away and deleted all the evidence except for this shitty website. Unfortunately for her and all the other scammers out there... The blockchain is forever. She stole $1.5 million from her fans.
She made so many promises about building the "value" of the Crypto Sis NFTs that it's disgusting. She promised to distribute ETH to random holders, to buy land in a metaverse to build a hangout, and much more. This was pitched to her fans as an investment, not just an art project. This could have all been fine and dandy if she had just released it as a generative art collection. Not something for people to spend a ton of money on in hopes that they can get more money for later. She very clearly stated that she "wanted to build value for the investors so they could sell the NFT for more later" and then disappeared with a ton of money. She claims that she left the project because the comments in the discord were just too negative. Can you imagine being the poor gentleman that spent 4 of his 6 ETH and can't afford to feed his kids? Someone seriously needs to reupload this video on PornHub and title it "Lana Rhoades fucks 6,000 people at the same time". I guarantee it would go viral. Still eager to get your hands on one of these worthless NFTs? The floor price is 0.009 ETH so have fun!
I sincerely hope people stop buying these stupid celebrity NFTs. 95% (probably more) of them have little to no actual value. This is the kind of thing that gives NFT technology a bad name. Do yourself a favor and avoid this kind of shit like the plague.

Well, that what happens with projects that comes with so much juicy offers.
Imagine all the promises and the sessions with business leaders and owners of 9 figure company, that's quite huge for a pornstar.
Its a good thing that blockchain history don't go away and can be used go track any of these transaction.
And it won't be too nice if justice catches up with her.

From a business point of view though, Lana Rhoades is a genius.
Having a core group of followers that she can monetise at the click of her fingers with whatever she says.

😂 It is quite funny to read you post, although it is said that those things happen. Like daily people get scammed. That is quite unfortunate. But it will happen again. And again. And people get fucked. Hope, that at least people like Lana will face consequences.

It sucks that people get scammed by these idiots but at the same time it is making the world a better place, one scam at a time.
