How to Get Even MORE Free Gods Unchained Packs

frens, I have been playing Gods Unchained since the very beginning. Back then you needed an invite code to even access the game, and it looke very different.

Weekends are Key

For those unfamiliar, Gods Unchained is one of the first blockchain games that I ever played. It is by far one of the most polished ones that exists. It has been around for a few years and the team behind it has even built their own layer 2 solution for Ethereum. Immutable X is the first ever NFT layer 2 solution for Ethereum and it is now being used by quite a few different projects. The expansion is a beautiful thing to see. Gods Unchained has also introduced its own token for the game called GODS which currently can only be earned by winning matches on the weekend. This is why Weekend Ranked play is key to continuing growth of your skills and decks. By checking your player page on GUdecks, you can track you progress on the weekends.

The more games you win, the more packs you earn. This is when all the bad ass players come out. There's incentive to play and win so everyone pulls out their best decks and goes to battle. Recently, the first play to earn campaign came to an end after 2 months of being able to earn GODS weekly by playing. Now it has been combined with the Weekends Ranked rewards. So now in order to earn GODS, you gotta come out on the weekends and wreck shit. This means not only can you earn the packs show above, but you can earn GODS to spend on whatever you like. Gods Unchained recently added support for GODS, IMX, and USDC as payment methods for packs - so here's how you can score even more packs with your hard-earned GODS tokens. First head to Gods Unchained and log in.

Then select which kind of packs you want to purchase. I went with Divine Order, and I grabbed a Legendary Pack. The next thing you do is click the drop down under payment and select GODS. (I paid for my pack with IMX)

There's no need to withdraw your GODS onto Ethereum, this is all done from the Immutable X wallet on layer 2. No gas fees at all. Once you select GODS, click buy now.

You'll be prompted to connect your wallet to Immutable X by signing a couple transactions with Metamask.

It's literally a couple clicks and it's nearly instant.

What this does is connects your Ethereum layer 1 wallet to Immutable X layer 2. This allows for instant and free transactions within your same Metamask wallet for these transactions.

Now all there's left to do is click Confirm and wait for your shiny new card pack to arrive. Then of course open it!

I figured I'd share my pack opening with you guys. It's nothing crazy like I was hoping for. Sadly now super rare cards. Some decent ones though.
