This allows you to use HIVE for DeFi on Polygon! pHBD recently got a similar upgrade and it created quite an uproar when it got pairs with USDC.

Just like pHBD, pHIVE is backed one to one with native HIVE on the Hive blockchain, 100% verifiable. This is a push toward PolyCUB's v2 vault system that's going to drive massive amounts of liquidity into the protocol using 5 different mechanisms. It also opens the doors for different Hive communities to get their tokens the Polygon treatment, launched through PolyCUB. Next is probably going to be pSPS.

Head over to the HIVE to Polygon bridge.

One you're there, you're met with the simplest of interfaces. Literally all you have to do is enter your Polygon address from Metamask (or whatever wallet) and enter the amount of HIVE you want to bridge.

One you enter the information, click Transfer. This is going to open a pop up from Hive Keychain to confirm the transaction. After a few seconds, you'll have your pHIVE in your wallet. You can add it to Metamask using the contract address - 0x456320e9b87a7c84a53b8ab300067f3a29aab301.

Now that you have your pHIVE in your Polygon wallet, it's time to start earning that sweet, sweet yield. Here's how you pair it with POLYCUB and stake in the farm.

Head to the PolyCUB farms page and click on the pHIVE-POLYCUB farm.

Then click Get PHIVE-POLYCUB LP. This will take you to SushiSwap to add liquidity to the pool. Currently there's just over $20k after 1 hour of being live. I have a feeling it'll be at $100k in just a couple hours so get your tokens in quick!

If you have issues getting SushiSwap to recognize pHIVE, add it yo Metamask and then refresh. Also you can paste the contract manually - 0x456320e9b87a7c84a53b8ab300067f3a29aab301.

Once you're happy with the amounts you are providing, click Approve pHIVE and confirm in Metamask. After that confirms, you will be able to click Add. Then confirm in Metamask.

Now head back to the PolyCUB farms page and we're ready to throw those LP tokens in the farm.

Click Enable, confirm in metamask. Then after it confirms, the button will change to a + and a - button.

Click the + button and click Max. Then confirm in Metamask.

Boom! You're now farming POLYCUB in the pHIVE-POLYCUB farm!

This pool is obviously a little more risky than the old pHBD-USDC pool because that pool is stable coins. pHIVE-POLYCUB are 2 volatile crypto assets so there is possibility of impermanent loss. You're also going to spend a little bit of MATIC for gas fees for the transactions, and a tiny fee for wrapping your HIVE. They're tiny fees but you should be aware of them.
