The Grave

The house of kings and counsellors of the earth,
The home of Golden princes and silver princesses,
The home of premature and aborted births,
The joyful find of the miserable,
The resting place of the weary and the silent recourse of the wicked.

There, the prisoner and the oppressor calmly rest;
The servant with the master in equal repose.
The Grave, receives small and great in quietness.
The Grave, the everlasting Home of all.
