Medusa is a fascinating character from Greek mythology. She was one of the Gorgons, creatures with snakes for hair. Legend has it that anyone who looked into her eyes would turn to stone. She was incredibly powerful and dangerous. Many heroes, like Perseus, faced her in battle. Perseus used a mirror to avoid looking directly into her eyes and eventually defeated her by cutting off her head. Even after her death, her head still retained its power. Greek mythology is full of captivating stories like this one.
