Good day to all loyal SoMeeans...



So, after months of my Hive Ecosystem journey, there are many things that i have learned and experienced. There are many many advantages to using other layer 2 platforms and not just SoMee. In fact, the advantages outweigh the disadvantages. I will give examples here.

1. Advantages: A huge Adavantage bewteen using layer 2 Platforms is that you will not see any large token holder upvoting only other large token holder like what you see on SoMee here. In fact, large holders post rarely if at all in those frontends. They only upvote good content and very small users get large upvotes, even larger than big token holders. This is not true for SoMee, as most large holders post a ton of content, upvote each other, and take as much of the daily oracles as possible. For many of you that are against this. Just try any layer 2 on Hive and you will see the difference.
   
   
   
   Try Communities like Cent, MemeHive, Proofofbrain, Archon, Sportstalk, Politics and Icebrk.. Yes, you do need to post content related to the subject on some of these, with the exception of proofofbrain, archon and cent which you really don't, just like on SoMee you don't. However, for those of you that hate seeing large token holders only upvote each other, encouraging bad content of other large holders, and leaving users that have extremely good content hopeless.    And there are many more. The SoMee large holders only vote large holder epidemic could lead some to assume that most, if not all Hive layer 2s are indentical. What if i tell you that none of the layer 2s on Hive suffer from this disease we see here on SoMee? I challenge any of you here to find evidence for me of large holders on Hive posting many many posts daily and upvoting only other large holders? It doesn't exist my friends, so please get that out of your minds. Most large holders on Hive have from 2 to 4 years without posting a darn thing on the platform.
   
   
   
   Ever wondered why the SoMee behaviour is discouraged on Hive? Ever wondered why many SoMeeans end up consistently downvoted for posting positive things about SoMee by Hiveans? This may be the reason why. And if we do not control this behaviour as soon as possible, we are going to continue burning bridges. So, if you are a concious large holder, and want to strengthen our relationships with other Communities inside the Hive ecosystem. You should really consider not only upvoting other large holders. But also those who create great content and are being ignored over here. We have artists over here such as ShadeFlowers, who's art work, which is hard work by the way, is being ignored in favor of upvoting large holders putting selfies, images taken off the internet, same pictures from different angles and posting them, pictures of feet up on a table and more content that really takes no efforts whatsoever.
   
   
   
   If you look at the content that receive huge upvotes on SoMee, you will clearly see what i mean. Just take 10 minutes of your time scrollling down your feed on somee.blog. It won't even take 10 minutes of your time so you can figure out that something is wrong with the culture large holders are encouraging on SoMee.. If you are a large SME holder, please take this into consideration.. The other posts that get upvoted massively are those of influencers and models. I have no problems with influencers and models. They deserve to get paid for their content, and well paid. However, here is what seems to be the catch. There are incentives behind what an influencer and a model can bring to the platform. So, it does seem that many large holders like to upvote influencers and models because of what they can bring to the platform, and not because they like their content. If the model or influencer didn't bring anything of value to the platform. Large holders would ignore them and go about posting pictures of sofas, stoves, restaurants, TVS, Houses, balconies and tables from many different angles and go about upvoting themselves.
   
   
   
7. Disadvantages on Hive layer 2 platforms.
   
   
   
   Lets break away from the culture here on SoMee that everything goes. Communities on Hive do not encourage low quality content and much worse stolen content from the internet. You get downvoted for posting things that take no work nor efforts. Most of the Hive communities that I've participated on, do not encourage posts that take little to no efforts from the user. Know please, that you will get downvoted by people on Hive, not always because you broke any rules. But instead, you will be downvoted on Hive because most people, especially large holders believe your post should not have the earnings it may get, because it is of poor quality. So, even the disadvantages on Hive are a positive in my opinion. Hive, and hopefully the majority of web 3.0 platforms, are helping us become more intelligent, hard working, less dependant and are increasing our attention span which was greatly decreased by Web 2.0 platforms.
