FBS Census (Future British Sportscars)
FBS Census (Future British Sportscars)
Is a concept car created by UK engineers Andrew Barber & Robin Hall in 2001 and displayed at the Birmingham Motor Show in 2002.
Built based upon a steel monocoque chassis & fiberglass bodywork, powered by a Ford 2495cc 24v DOHC V6 (170hp) with a 5-speed manual transmission.
Unfortunately the styling was not well received, which led to poor sales with less than ten vehicles being produced before financial difficulties forced the company to close in 2003.
Following on from other projects (Edge Sorts Cars), Robin Hall is chief engineer with Wells Motor Cars in the UK, producing the 2021 Vertige sports cars.
