Kudos to the entire management of hiveghana community for their efforts in sustaining this community especially in carrying out engagement for the 36th time now. It worth commending and celebrating as well. To all the consistent participants, I also celebrate all of us.

when I saw the varied display of the three topics for the week 36, my heart yielded to the first one which has to do with women and shopping. Can I say there is a myth concerning women and shopping? Or better still within this axis, most women are gradually becoming inseparable from shopping. There are certain women I know that is very hard they miss shopping weekly whereas others monthly and so on. The fact that a great percentage of women are involved in shopping doesn't mean there's no exception. In this write, I would share a life story of a woman I know very well that doesn't miss shopping every week and sometimes daily. I will state few reasons why women like shopping.

Women like shopping in order to maintain the fashion trend. We are living in a time where most women find it difficult to stay and live differently. There are women that fashion has become like part of their makeup today. It will interest you to note that there are women that don't like repeating clothes twice and don't like to wear same thing with others. In another facet, there are category that any latest material or fashion they are amongst the first five to invade the market. I asked myself, how many are even working or rending a particular service? But yet spend so much more than the working class. There's a woman in the neighbourhood that I have observed over time and even asked her one day she just laughed at me that I won't understand. She boldly told me that it would be very hard for her not to go shopping weekly and buy something new.

Another reason why women are so much associated with shopping is because of pleasure or fun or emotional balance. Adventure is good and helps one to see more things and appreciate the state of things. As God created us with unique genetic makeup, there are other women that to have a stable mind they must go out at least to a shop. It will amaze you to note that shopping could be a love language to certain women. No matter how a man display a show of love to them and fail to either take them shopping or allow them to sort themselves hmmm it means no love then. It's very important for men to design what brings happiness and fulfillment to women. Shopping is not bad since is a source of joy to an individual.

Some women go shopping as means to intimidate other women. One's motive defines everything over every action. Shopping shouldn't be a means of competition or comparison but should be opened for every one to do as there's provision. Many women use shopping as a means to define which class of women they belong to.

In as much as women like shopping, not every woman like shopping. Sometimes it's difficult to separate women from shop.
