It's a beautiful Sunday shinning day over here and I believe you're enjoying the best of the moment. In my reflection this afternoon, this word crept in to my spirit and I felt like sharing my thought with you perhaps it could add value to someone on this ecosystem. The subject for my discussion is on the topic the power of trust. I have realised that one of the missing link which affects virtually most facets of life is the issue of trust. I may likely share how some families are currently in disarray now due to lack of trust and I can boldly share how many relationship ended in dreadlocks as a result of trust. Therefore follow me gradually as I share with you.

What's trust?

Trust simply means to depend on something completely. Trust means to have hope, confidence, assurance on something that is reliable. It could also be seen as a firm grip on something which is honest and believed to be reliable. Let me quickly share the power of trust or the positive effects of trust to one's life.

Power of trust.

Before I proceed to share on the power of trust, I would like to say that some of the essential ingredients of trust includes integrity, being honest, truthful, reliable and accountable. In order to have a firm trust one must deliberately work on a good relationship. In maintaining and sustaining a good relationship the following factors are critical;

• Information. This is the first level of any relationship. In this quadrant, an individual knows someone just at the level of name only. In fact it might not even be an official name self because this relationship is very shallow. At this level of relationship, you don't have detailed ideas neither do you have strong grip of the individual.
• The second level of relationship is Insight. Truly relationship begins from information then it migrates to insight. At this level you advance your knowledge of just knowing the person to having more insight about the person. You know where such an individual hails from, his location and perhaps family background but yet is not enough to trust such an individual.
• The third level of relationship is the impact. At this stage the relationship begins to migrate from the level of insight to impact. At this stage you can identify some level of influence and value addition of such friend to your life. This would help to build up the confidence and trust level.
• The last level of relationship is the intimacy. This can be liken to a wife and husband. At this point both of you can't hide any secret for each other instead you have boldness to share everything freely.

THE POWER OF TRUST.

I would like to point out three C's of trust.

• CHARACTER. What defines trust is the character of an individual. Character entails the integrity, attributes and the life of such individual. If your character can't be trusted it affects the entire life of such an individual.
• CONSISTENCY. This has become one of my best words I normally use. One of the basis for trust is lie in consistency. This entails staying, abiding and doing over and over again until result is attained.
• COMMUNICATION. This is pivotal in developing the level of truth. Communication can classify into two. Intra and inter communication. Intra communication includes the communication that is within an individual's personality while the inter involves the communication without which affects the environment and the people.

CONCLUSION

Trust is very powerful and has the capacity to change or transformed lives. I have seen a young couple wedded within a month and got separated due to lack of trust between them. They could not believe themselves with the issue of money. The woman felt the husband lack integrity and is extravagant in spending. Just few days into the marriage everything scattered.
Trust is a powerful tool that cements every relationship.
