THE EMERGENCE OF FASA

Hi lovely people,
It's another mid of the week from this end and I am so excited to be part of the crew of participants in this Edition's engagement. I want to believe everyone is bubbling in good health just as I am.

A nickname is a name that is outside the official names that one bears. It is also know as person's popular name. I have grown to see many people whose nickname metamorphosized to their official name. In fact it became an outstanding family name. Follow me as I share with you my experience on nickname and the emergence of my own nickname.

I have the singular honour to tell you that I have a nickname and it's called Fasa.
Initially I never knew this will actually standout for me. As a young man growing up, I found many of my contemporaries and other seniors having a common name aside their original names, this gives me great concern.

When I secured admission into the secondary school, I was tender however the brain wasn't at all. As I keep growing and gaining adaptation to the new environment, I noticed how senior students especially the prefect were called another special name which took them to the peak of influence in the school then. I became so curious and anxious, just waiting for my own time to come.

Progressively, I landed in the senior class where my heart started developing strong passion for science subjects simultaneously started having a defined league of friends. Before the end of our senior class one, I was able to form a strong like minded team where we share and rub minds together. As our relationship keeps growing stronger and better the need for a nickname started becoming clearer for me.

It was this faithful day that I was just relaxing in my room then though not boarding school but my parent paid for accommodation 3km away from the school in the town. This gave me an ample opportunity to brainstorm and think critically unlike other students. I also had flair for writing. I can write a lot in fact I was even given the best student in copying notes on the chalk board.

In my moment of reflection, so many names dropped in my spirit but as I began to scrutinized them I wasn't fulfilled. The subsequent day as I was preparing to go to school, I had an insight to collate all my names and see how I can coin out a name out of it. An acronym suddenly appeared to my dear heart. I picked the first letter of my names in a sequential order hmmm the emergence of Fasa.
Each of these letters represents the initial of my name. Wow like a joke a nickname has been created and I started writing it in my books.

As soon I was given prefect in my senior class two, the nickname started spreading across all other arms hence I fortified the name to be Senior Fasa. Whenever I step into any class, the students will stand and greet me thus good day senior Fasa. Hmm smiles overwhelmed my face at the mention of the name.

I still bear the name till now that I am married. I enjoyed being called like that and at times I include it into my official names too to ease people. Some don't know even know my official name self aside the nickname.
I don't intend to change it now instead I'll rather preferred to be called like that.
If you notice even my username on this platform is fasacity is just the polish of the nickname.
