Hi great family hope and believe everyone is doing great. I am very happy for this edition of the contest. I must confess that this has been like a burden and prayer point because of the kind of challenges I have been through since my assumption in the hive ecosystem. The journey hasn't been just bed of roses but full of hurdles and enjoyment as well. Immediately I saw the theme, alot of thoughts started resonating from my heart. I had to take a couple of minutes to figure out few things before I proceeded with the write up.

Change is the only permanent thing that every human being, organisation desires in a bit to become the best. One of the secrets of maintaining relevancy and sustaining a vision is hinged on deliberate attempt to cross check and evaluate the state of things in order to identify the loopholes and areas of improvement. System upgrade is very important because it helps to meet up with any trending change or conformation to latest. Follow me as I share what I feel if added to the hive blockchain could help to make the platform a better one.

One thing that need to be upgraded in the hive ecosystem is the boarding process. How I wish there would be a self help portal where one could access and sign up successfully without the help of the third party. It shouldn't be difficult but user friendly so that everyone could access it. This will attract more people and reduce pressure on other third parties who might not have time for the boarding process. I have been able to share and convince so many people to sign up but the challenge has been that they must be guided and properly mentored if not one might lose or get bored along the way. This factor has really limited my sphere of influence.

Another area that needs upgrade is an option to choose community and edit if wrong community is chosen. I had this challenge recently. Haven finished my powerful write up and putting all the necessary tags I couldn't chose a community to post in therefore I kept struggling to see whether I can edit it but everything proved abortive. There is a serious need for an upgrade here if not the new subscribers might not be encouraged to stay in the system and moral will be very low. A friend of mine also complaint about this and almost cried because of the time and energy taken to construct such write up is too much. A young lady that I know very well which we were trying to mentor and guided to sign up almost gave up completely because the first post was wrongly pasted in a community. This took us months to convince her to stay in the system. Therefore a portal for editing should be created in order to accommodate some of these unplanned mistake in order to stir up and encourage many participation.

CONCLUSION

Upgrade supposed to be done periodically because of the global changes and rapid development of technology. If hive is upgraded, there would be more positive response and participation in the ecosystem.
