CLEAN PLANET REPORT FOR MONDAY 12-2-2024

As I woke up this morning, I noticed a change in the weather. This calls for serious check and deliberate consciousness about the environment and waste management. In today's post, I want to share about environment and later discuss how waste can be managed.

As a way of introduction, environment is defined or can be seen as surrounding which consists of air, water, land, etc. What supports man is the environment. The components of environment includes biotic(living thing), Abiotic (Non-living things), and the social which makes up the man and environment.

The gradual activities of man in the environment affects the natural quality of the environment either direct or indirect through pollution etc. Recently I was in a community and most of the communards were cutting down tress to produce charcoal as a means for business. The question I quietly asked myself was who replaces these trees that has been cut down? This kind of activities exposes man to lots of dangers in the environment.

In my subsequent post, I will share how is environment affected by the operation of man.
