Splinterlands art contest / Graphite drawing of Kulu Mastermind

Hello friends,
I hope you are all having a wonderful weeks are time appears to be moving faster to me, i made a graphite drawing of the splinterlands character Kulu Mastermind and that would be my entry to the splinterlands art contest. This character reminds me of Davy Jones from the movie "The Pirates Of The Caribbean - Dead Man's Chest" this character would be a perfect fit for this, watching movie gives you more insight of things. The makers of these cards are amazing and creative i must say.

Kulu Mastermind

Here are the steps I took in creating this drawing: For the initial sketch, I used a 2B pencil, and for the main sketch, I used a 10B Bianyo pencil. My favorite part of the artwork is the face, with its incredible folds and marks that give him a fierce, eerie expression beside tentacles. Actually, it took longer than I anticipated, but I suppose that's just part of the routine. To prevent smudging, I always draw from the left side of the image to the right side using my standard pattern. My method of drawing gives a more understandable explanation.
