A Graphite Sketch

A day before yesterday I found some really interesting references in my gallery and I had every intention to explore them (as promised). So the moment I woke up this morning, I shuffled through and decided to start exploring with this young lad.

It took some time and very careful stroking to arrive at this. The effect I wanted to imbibe on the paper was a soft and well layered one and because of that, I had to be careful and patient.

I must confess, this took some time to put together (because of my delicate approach) but it was totally worth it.

The reference is one of the many I found on Pinterest earlier this week.
