The Journey Ahead: 'A Graphite Portrait'

Today of all days I happen to be traveling. There is this program my government runs for all graduates in ths country to foster peace unity and a sense of Nationality. For one year once you're done with your degree or study, you get transferred to another part of the country far from your current location. There you would work and assimilate yourself with the people.

Most people hate this tradition but opposed to their views, I have come across a number of people who have greatly benefited from it. Some even relocated totally to the place they were posted to after that year.

So sitting down here at the part and staring at a 12 to 16 hours journey by road, I sort of went through my gallery and seeing the face of this man who looks like a lumberjack, I know my journey will be smooth.
