The Hunter-Gatherer

One of the core courses I am taking in my Masters program is on Anthropology. And the lecturer has been making notes of the ’Original Sin of Anthropology’ and how the classification of evolutionism is flawed. So whenever he wants to refer to what you’d call ‘primitive’ he’d instead make notes that cultures defer and that we shouldn’t mention that word or see them in that light.

The term Hunter-Gatherers was suggested and I honestly love that outlook. As their main occupation is spelt out through the process and not just grouping according to ethnic groups.

I decided to do a deep dive and a spread out landscape. What I noticed now is that I should’ve done some background with at least one or two elephants behind him.
