Splinterlands Art Contest Week 295; Kulu Mastermind
In alll there are very few sitcom animators I respect and one of them is Tom Reugger. Over the course of his career, he has made a couple of shows I am sure you'll be familiar with but in the 90s, he was on fire. It was then that he produced one of my favorites; 'Freakazoid'. The series has a lot of insanity in it but the audacity it took to have made it knowing fully well it just might not yield is something I really respect.
There is this particular Villain 'Von the Unspeakable' in the second season that introduces himself before attacking his subject. He worked with Jeepers who made a watch that turned people to stone. This particular character has a semblance with Von the Unspeakable. His tentacles and all makes him look almost like a replica if you don't consider his pointed head and change of color.
The second reason I decided to experiment with this character os because my PC is down I haven't been able to fix it (I need money) so I used the opportunity to fulfill this fantasy I've always had of drawing Davy Jones from the Pirates of the Caribbean. The moving tentacles suggest that so I took the initiative.
