Parrot

Yesterday afternoon I was sitting down, minding my business when I saw the most interesting thing; a well positioned ‘Parrot’.

It had most of its tones already spread out and beautifully even. I just couldn’t resist this temptation. I knew I could’ve achieve a more realistic effect if the top of my lead was a little bit more pointier but at the time I couldn’t get a blade so I worked with what was available.

I would’ve made the drawing black and white but I feared the light tones would be swallowed and blend with the background making the figure flat.
