My Scribble Drawing of Arnold Schwarzenegger

Usually I start my posts by talking about the character or subject of that day. Today however, I'd like to focus more on the technique seeing how it's the first time I'd be using straight and curved lines on a scribble drawing.
I got the idea for shining the beards when first I had finished the drawing. The idea seemed good at the time and so I ventured and even recently practiced with another subject. This time it was Hagrid from the Harry Potter. I wouldn't want to go into the details so I'll leave it at that.

It so happens that I've only made two portraits of Arnold, this being the second. The reference image was so compelling that I almost didn't want to improvise. It's these kind of shots that makes you want to take a dive into photography.
