My Anonymous Portrait

When first I saw the reference for this drawing, I was attracted to it because of the wrinkles and expressions on his face.

A long while into the drawing I discover that the eyes weren't necessary for it to look good. I noticed this when I tried drawing a first eyeball and immediately I cleaned it off, totally adjusting to the now figure.

Subjects like this always prove to be interesting and honestly I hope to make more.... subsequently
