One of the things I failed to mention yesterday was that the clown portrait I shared was actually the second sketch I made. The first was of this young lady. The reference I used was a black and white drawing with very good tones and I was drawn to it.

Just like I did with the clown, I took my time to layer each part so that it properly reflects the emotions I wished to portray. At the end of the day, I had this.
