A Quick Sketch; 'Mother Owl'

I have come to learn that every once in a while, it is good to try out subjects that you typically wouldn't consider. This is very important as it gives perspective, refreshes the artists' mind and open them up for more improve.

I really can't remember if this is from a cartoon but I'm t looks strangely familiar and seeing it on my brother's phone caught my attention. It should've been a quick sketch though but I used a blunt pencil. Glad it turned out this way....
