A Graphite Piece

Looking at my blog this morning I realized that I made the mistake of not posting yesterday. Honestly I thought I did and was just logging in now even to check if there were any comments that needed response only to find that there was no post. It is these kind of lapses that make me realize that I need a break. My mind is filling in blanks and I don’t like it.

I made this sketch last week experimentally. The face was just as the artist did it but the hair and certain features, not so much. But I know my touch was acute.
