A Graphite Piece

This morning I escorted a neighbour who was going to the state in which I served and now work. She didn’t know the way around or how to get there so I felt obliged to follow her there. When I got back home, I showered, ate, took a nap and then took my pencil to make this art piece.

The reference I used was a painting I got from Pinterest some months back. I had doubts with the the concept of the face and hair and wasn’t so sure I would be able to achieve the optimal effect. I experimented though and it paid off eventually.
