A Graphite Piece

This afternoon I took a long time to sculpt with my pencil. I knew it would be an interesting sketch because of the position of the light on their face and the eye especially. The eye part is one I didn’t capture as much as I would love to but to some extent I did.

From his uniform I could tell he was a military personnel but then the image was not full. Usually I would improvise his top but this time I went along with the reference.
